To kick off Read Across America Week, Cortez students enjoyed a special visit from the Los Angeles Rams Cheerleaders and their mascot, Rampage! The guests led an interactive reading of a book showcasing historic landmarks across Los Angeles, and students had the chance to take photos with them. It was the perfect way to launch a week dedicated to celebrating the love of reading.
The festivities continue with book giveaways, surprise guest readers, interactive activities, community partnerships, a field trip to Ganesha High School, and more!
