Thanks to support from the Water Resources Department, students at Vejar Elementary School and Cortez Mathematics & Science Magnet School participated in the Wyland Foundation Mobile Learning Experience.
The 1,000-square-foot mobile science center gave 4th–6th grade students a hands-on opportunity to explore water conservation, quality, sustainability, and availability through interactive exhibits and activities. The experience encouraged students to better understand the important role they play in protecting and conserving water.
